My roommate just pointed out to me (she stopped home in between parties) that this is the second year in a row that i have ended up at a New Years party with a lot of people I don’t really know. 4 days of christmas
I was laying in bed this morning unable to go back to sleep when I started thinking of how my presents this year can fit into the 12 days of christmas song … here’s what i came up with:
4- Meijer gift cards
3- CD’s
2-camera accessories
and a ring with a bible verse on it

another friend is engaged
I know I’m only 25 but I am starting to feel really old watching all of my friends get married and knowing that I am not anywhere close to that point. And my other single friends are off having adventures in other countries right now. I am happy for all of them so why then does it make me sad?
reunions with friends!
My friends that were out of the country this fall are all back in Michigan (except one- Meghan) for christmas and I am so excited to be hanging out with them for a couple days on the East side of the state! Some of the things we’ve done so far ….

church today
This morning I think I went through almost every emotion possible while I was at church! Rob Bell concluded the three week study on 2 Corinthians 8 (I only was in church for weeks 1 and 3). just when i thought i was over this cold i start feeling sick again … my immune system really sucks. i don’t have time to be sick, there is too much to do right now between finishing classes and Christmas parties and spending time with friends who i haven’t seen all semester!
sometimes i don't like my job
or i guess certain parts of my job like taking a turn with the on call phone which only happens when my boss is unavailable. the past few times i have been in charge of the phone have been no big deal, and i have earned my $10 a day without stressing. but now i can not wait to go into the office this afternoon and give my boss the phone back! i have been woken up every day since thursday by the...
waking up late ....
For most people needing to be at work by 10am is not a big problem but this morning my roommate and I both had to do that and coincidentally both woke up late. If I wasn’t running around like crazy I would have taken a minute to laugh about it then, but now that I’m back home I’m realizing how funny it actually was :) I remember my alarm going off at 9 and i hit snooze next...

strange things happen when i'm sick
This has been an interesting week I swear my brain stops working when I’m sick and to prove it here are some examples:
- i have put clothes on wrong
- i cracked an egg in my hand
- i forgot what room my class was in
- i run into stationary objects
i’m sure there are lots more examples and i will add them as i remember or as they happen :)

procrastination
I have a paper due tomorrow at 5pm, its a research proposal so its kind of important but neither my partner or I care much about it … We had planned to meet tonight at 6 to work on it but becasue everyone says the roads are getting bad neither of us feels like driving anyplace in the snow. So we are planning to do the whole thing via phone, and g-mail chat- thanks goodness for technology!
