“Ten years later, we stand with all those who lost someone on 9/11. We can’t know your pain, but we can say that it matters.”

- As a prospective social worker I need to remember this not just in the case of September 11th but any sort of painful event people go through. I may not be able to understand what they are feeling, but I can tell them it matters.
