I know that October was breast cancer awareness month, but I am still thinking pink in November! Sunday I had a chance to stop and visit with the TerAvest kids (their dad was my youth pastor so I’ve known the family since I was 14). Their mom, Beth, is currently battling breast cancer. I love them so much and it makes me sad to hear the youngest (who is 8) talk about chemo in normal conversations.
Beth had her fourth round of chemotherapy today and Sunday the kids gave me a pink bracelet to wear which I will proudly do as I think about Beth! I recently bought a new black fleece and didn’t even realize it had the pink ribbon stitched on it until later. Plus, I love how the movie theater had pink tickets for October and I am enjoying my limited edition pink tick tacks that taste like pink grapefruit!
