So I’ve come to dread phone calls from work because my boss continues to tell me things I am doing wrong! I’ve had this job for over two years now and I guess there are a lot of policies I still don’t know about becasue I’ve never had issues until recently…
For example my boss called me today and said “remember the policy is ….” well I don’t know how I am supposed to remember something I had never heard before. I calmly thanked him for the new information and emphasized that it was new to me and I would make sure to keep it in mind for the future. I am continually being treated like a rule breaker which if he knew me at all would know is not true! I am just doing my job the way I always have and my consumers are happy so why is my supervisor so unhappy?!?!
It makes me so frustrated and so angry but honestly I have had three supervisors in the past two years and this current one is the worst just becasue he is not personable. In my opinion he lacks the people skills needed to do this job, I get the feeling he does not like me and it makes me dislike him. I really do like my job it’s just my boss who makes it annoying.
Any suggestions, how do you guys deal with situations at work?
