My mom always told me I got my dad’s sense of direction and that I could get lost inside a paper bag … well I don’t know if I’m that bad but I will admit I’m not good with directions! With that said I have a huge appreciation for my tom tom GPS at least once a week when I am unsure of the best way to get from one place to another especially during “construction season” in Michigan :)

For example, yesterday I went out to Hudsonville to look for good locations to take someone’s senior pictures and I’ve never been through that area. My GPS helped me find parks, schools, stores, etc. and get back to the highway without difficulty! I have recently been accused of letting a “computer” take over and not doing any thinking while driving, but I do actually have to use my brain when the tom tom tells me an entrance or exit ramp is on the opposite side of the road. Obviously if I want to go east and the sign tells me to exit right I will not exit left becasue my GPS says to - road signs always take precedence over the GPS ;)
Anyway, this is a really random post but I haven’t written in a while and since this was on my mind I thought I’d mention how much I love my tom tom, lol. If you have ever debated getting a GPS for your car I say do it! Mine may just be the be the most useful Christmas gift I’ve ever received (way better than the dictionary my parents got me in high school hoping to improve my spelling!)
